This page is demonstrative of some of the excellent work that my dear friend Eddie Johnson has produced...mi primo hermano! He is an expert,professional photographer who knows how to capture movement and color in his works. 
Ed Johnson, Jr. has been a photographer since he was 13 years old. He studied in the 80’s with renowned Renaissance man, Mansa K. Musa. Perhaps one of Mr. Johnson’s most notable talents is his ability to capture “the Moment” with photography. Ed describes “the Moment” as; “The gift of you can not purchase or read about in a book” it is an instinctual reflex that he has perfected through studies of dance with mentor Ben Jones. Ed’s work amazingly captures in freeze frame the movement in music and color that is inherent of the dance. Throughout his 30 years of taking pictures, he has photographed dancers who were members of Alvin Ailey, Alpha Omega, Nanette Bearden, Dance Theater of Harlem, Le Rock Bey, Afrikaan International Ballet Company, Alfred Gallaman Dance Company, Rod Rogers, Forces of Nature and Segunda Quimbamba. Mr. Johnson is also administrator “ILO INFOSYSTEMS, LLC” a telecommunications and technology services consulting firm that he co-founded in 2002 visit his site by clicking on the image below.
